Your itinerary depends on many things – such as how active you want to be, how much time you have, your
desires, dreams and taste. We have outlined a sample 7 day “5 Star” itinerary starting and ending in
St Thomas (or Tortola) that will meet your island escape needs: sandy secluded beaches, excellent
snorkeling, beach party bars, breathtaking anchorages, places of interest, gourmet meals, exotic
cocktails and of course beautiful sailing.
Day 1: Depart St Thomas and make the short sail to St John. Swim and snorkel around the famous Cannel
Bay Resort, a great spot to see the wide variety of marine life in the local waters. Take a trip into St John to
visit “Woody’s”, The Quite Mon and Mongoose Junction. Then head on to Frances Bay or Leinster Bay for a
Veuve Clicquot Champagne reception and an overnight mooring.

Day 2: Snorkel at Waterlemon Cay and visit the Annaberg Plantation
ruins. Move on to West End, Tortola (aka Sopers Hole) and clear into the
British Virgin Islands. Then after lunch on board or at the Jolly Roger,
continue on to overnight at Norman Island with an evening of after dinner
fun at the famous floating Willie T’s Bar.
Day 3: Snorkel the “Treasure Island” inspired “Caves before breakfast and
take in the amazing snorkel at the Indians Rock Pinnacles. Sail over to
the exclusive Peter Island for lunch and a couple’s massage and half Spa
Day. Sail onwards to Cooper Island for a low key beach evening and hang
out on the couples boat hammock, star gazing.
Day 4: Take a dinghy excursion to snorkel at the Caribbean’s most
famous wreck site, the RMS Rhone off Salt Island. After lunch sail east to the Baths at Virgin Gorda then
onwards for an overnight mooring at Trellis Bay on Beef Island. After dinner sample the best of Island Live
Music at the Last Resort Bar Restaurant on the nearby Bellamy Cay. Should you be here during the full
moon, Aragorn’s Full Moon Party is a must.
Day 5: Sail Northeast to Gorda Sound via The Dogs for lunch and a snorkel. Call in at Leverick Bay and Saba
Rock. Then stroll the trails at the Bitter End and enjoy Sunset Cocktails at the super exclusive Biras Creek
Resort.
Day 6: Sail either to Anegada (for die hard sailors & lobster dinner lovers)
or alternatively sail southwest over to Jost Van Dyke to party at Foxy’s,
The Soggy Dollar and Ivan’s Stress Free (serve yourself!) Bars at Great
Harbor and White Bay. Of course Lobsters at “Sydney’s Peace & Love”
in Little Harbor, is always a treat.
Day 7: A champagne breakfast on the beautiful Sandy Cay followed by a
short sail back to St John to clear customs and then a final downwind
relaxed sail to Red Hook or Charlotte Amalie for departure drop off. Don’t
forget a last cocktail at Duffy’s Love Shack in Red Hook or Wikked at
Yacht Haven Grande.
